2- A custom price estimate will then be sent to you within 3-5 business days.
3- Once you have decided to place an order, you can respond by email to the estimate received. You can also contact me at 512-710-6366.
4- For small orders, full payment is required to reserve a date. For large orders, a 50% deposit is required. Full payment is due one month before the event. Once payment is received, your date is reserved. If you do not pay it within 1 week of receiving your estimate, you may lose your spot. No order is reserved until payment has been received..
5- I will contact you 1 or 2 days prior to delivery/pickup date to confirm a time on your chosen date.
It’s never too early! I’m currently booking up months in advance, so if there’s a date for which you know you’re going to want cookies or other sweets – let me know asap!
Delivery is free on orders of $100 or more and within a 5-mile radius of Lakeway, TX. If you live beyond a 5-mile radius of Lakeway, delivery is available at a charge of $2-per mile to the address of the event.
Unfortunately, I do not offer shipping at this time. All orders MUST be local. After you pick them up, you can, of course, ship them. Or have a friend pick them up for you and ship!
At this time, no. The Sophistibaker LLC operates as a Cottage Food Business in Texas. As a Cottage Food Business, I am allowed to bake out of my home kitchen but I cannot ship.
Yes! I offer a Gluten-Free version of my sugar cookies, cupcakes and Petit Fours. Plus, Macarons are naturally Gluten-Free as they are made with almond flour. Most Bonbon options are also Gluten-Free.
Additionally, Royal Icing, which is used to decorate cookies, is naturally Gluten-Free, and the recipe for Buttercream Icing I use to decorate cupcakes, is also Gluten-Free.
But please note: The Sophistibaker kitchen is not a Gluten or Nut Free facility. All my sweets are prepared and baked with the same equipment and cannot be guaranteed 100% gluten or nut free free.
Absolutely! Themes and quantity can both be changed once you’ve been booked. However, depending on the size of your order and how far in advance it is placed, your window to decide or make changes will vary, as there are deadlines to be met.
While we can accommodate requests for customers with certain food allergies, and your sweets may not be made with nuts or a nut product, it will have been prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used in other sweets and fillings. We cannot guarantee that your order will be free from all nut traces. All of the sweets, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts.
We accept Venmo and PayPal. Once you are ready to place an order, you will be sent the information.
